The Fairmont Hamilton Pincess has been the Grande Dame of Bermuda's hotels ever since she opened her doors in January 1, 1885. The historic landmark hotel was named in honor of Princess Louise, the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria. Princess Louise often visited the island on winter retreats and called Bermuda a place of "eternal spring". Located just five minutes from the center Bermuda's shopping and entertainment district within easy access to Bermuda's best restaurants and nightlife. Located in Bermuda's prime address, the newly renovated Fairmont Hamilton boasts seven prestigious awards scooped since 2000. The awards include the 2001 Pinnacle Award, 2000 Gold Key Award and 2000 Best Bermuda Award for Best Dining. The hotel's Harley's restaurant was recently awarded the Best of Bermuda Gold Award in Hotel Dining by the Bermudian Magazine. Harley's offers an incomparable dining experience. Furniture in the Entrée Gold rooms is designed Bermuda style with large armoires offering King or two double beds.
