 The Westcoast Cape Fox Lodge is a first-class hotel located within the heart of the Tongass National Forest, only 2 miles from Ketchikan International Airport. Situated on a hill, overlooking the city, the hotel has an interior décor reminiscent of a ski lodge with a river rock fireplace, pine-beamed ceilings and overstuffed furniture. A popular method of reaching this hotel is via a scenic tram ride that the lodge with the downtown area, 130 feet below.
The hotel has only 72 guestrooms that are spacious and possess the feel of a north woods cabin. All guestrooms offer scenic views of a nearby mountain or the waterfront city of Ketchikan. From Ketchikan International Airport:
Turn right, drive onto Tongass Avenue.
Follow natural curve in the road (downtown).
Turn left onto Bawden Street, stay straight.
At the fork, stay right onto Park Avenue.
Off of Park Avenue to the right is Venetia Way.
Follow Venetia Way to the WestCoast Cape Fox Lodge.
Westcoast Cape Fox Lodge is located on the hilltop.
Or, ride the tram up from Creek Street.
